At the Zoo

Last week, we all went to the Fort Worth Zoo with Nanny.  Despite some rain and a tornado siren, it was a perfectly lovely outing.  Fortunately, the tornadoes were not near enough to put us in any danger.  The sirens did clear out the zoo pretty quickly, though, and we practically had the entire place to ourselves.

A few highlights of the trip:

1.Watching the nervous black bear pace back and forth:

 2. The "Lion King" (as Leah called him)

 3. Feeding the parakeets and cockatiels with Nanny

4. Enjoying some sticky sweet Snowballs (or "ice" as Leah called it), compliments of Nanny!

5. Getting a season pass from Nanny so we can go again...and again and again!!
