Pure Michigan 2012

In August, we joined the rest of the White family at Marysfield for a wonderfully relaxing week at the beach.  All of my siblings and their families were there except Anne and Phil.  They were waiting for baby Mary Grace to arrive!  The visit was complete with good food, good company, the beach, blueberries, a bonfire, lots of stars, a few sing-a-longs, a couple rainy days, some reading, some gorgeous sunsets, and one late night cutting-off-of-Joe's-mole.

Ok - this is not from our Michigan trip.  I had to include this because the Olympics began just before our trip and the kids really enjoyed watching them all day long (As did I.  I love the Olympics!)  Leah will still cheer for "U.S.A!" when she sees a sports event on TV.

The Trip
A glimpse of our long overnight car ride.

We made a stop at Grandpa Mike and Guggie's house to play with some of their Disney toys.

MICHIGAN!!

Blueberries!!  They were so delicious and the kids could not get enough of them.

Leah and Ben with 3 of the 4 Thornton kids.

I wish I had some pictures from the night that Joe, Katharine, Steve, Chrissy, Joe and I went out for dinner together.  We left all the kids with Grandpa and Guggie and my three very capable little sisters.  It was so much fun!

Happy 1st Birthday to Olivia!!

I hope we will see you again soon, Michigan!!
