Our Easter weekend

Oh how I love Easter!!  It is just an awesome Holy Day filled with joy, peace, family and the expectation of lovely springtime. This year our Easter was a little different because Daddy Joe had to work on Easter evening.  We still tried to squeeze everything in and so our Holy Saturday turned into a fun, full day.

We took the kids to the UD Alumni Easter Egg Hunt and both kids had a blast:  Leah adored the Easter bunny.  Ben was not a huge fan and steered clear of the big rabbit. 

Leah and her best buddy, Maggie, were inseparable the entire afternoon.  It was so sweet. 

After the UD event, we got to swing by the Bird's to see everyone, have a margarita, and squeeze little baby Atticus.

We ended our Holy Saturday with champagne, egg-dying, and our Easter dinner.

 
Ben really got into the Easter morning egg hunting this year and loved putting the eggs back into the carton.  Leah was a pro and helped find everyone's baskets.
