Last weekend we left daddy to his studying and his house painting and flew to Wisconsin (just in time for Guggie and Papa Mike's wedding anniversary!). After a few days with Guggie, Papa Mike, Aunt Meg, Aunt Molly, and Aunt Katie, we hopped a train to Chicago to see some of my best friends in Chicago. We spent the weekend visiting, eating, relaxing and walking around Bucktown and Lincoln Park. It was so nice to visit the old apartment (which is much improved) and the old neighborhood. Chicago really is the greatest city. Uncle Joe and Aunt Katharine joined us for Sunday Brunch and, although our attempt to walk to Lake Michigan was foiled by a surprise downpour, we had a lovely visit.

After our time in Chicago, we hopped a train back up to Wisconsin to spend one more day at the White house. We even got to see Uncle Pete (who just graduated from UD - way to go Pete-o!)
