The Dallas Zoo

One nice thing about living in the DFW area is that you get to see wonderful UD friends when they come into town for their sibling's/sibling-in-law's UD graduation.  And when friends are in town, you get to do fun stuff like go to the Dallas Zoo with your kids! 

Leah had only been to a zoo once before.  We went to the Phoenix Zoo when she was 4.5 months old and too young to really even notice the animals.  On this trip, she had an absolute blast and was completely wiped out (as was I) after our 5 hour hike through the zoo.

Oh, hello there Cheetah!

I think this Jeep was one of Leah's favorite parts of the Zoo.
